The staff was exceptionally courteous and especially attentive and the place was perfectly clean. Our breakfasts were very comprehensive and generous at the garden with a seaview. The hotel had a beautiful location 4-6 minutes' walking distance from Robert Dundas. Further, it was next to the Avista which was also impressive, The Cliff, The Rose Garden and the Il Gallo d'Oro and central Funchal and also the many good restaurants and bars in the Lido area.

I enjoyed how the hotel looked, ideal and absolutely gorgeous place. The beds were extremely comfy and overall the room was huge & excellent quality. The location was good for traveling around Funchal, adjacent to the occasional cruise ship, the The Rose Garden restaurant, and The Cliff Bay on high recommendation for a very special remembrance. Had free soft drinks in the main bar.

We walked everywhere, the location was super, down as far as the outside pools at the side of the sea.
